What does Know Christmas collect about you?
Nothing. This book is for reading, and you never have to tell it anything.
There are no accounts to make and nothing to sign up for. There is no tracking, no advertising and no counting of visitors, and the book sets no cookies.
Nothing on the site asks a child, or anyone else, for a name, an address, a photo or any other personal detail. The games ask only for taps.
If you choose to write to us at hello@knowchristmas.com, we use your email only to write back.
What stays on your own device
If you turn the little animations off or on, your browser remembers that choice for your next visit. The choice stays on your own device and is never sent to us.
The match game remembers your matches only while the page is open. Nothing about it is saved or sent.
When you search the book, the search happens in your own browser, and the words you type are not sent anywhere.
The web itself
Like every website, the service that hosts the book receives the ordinary details a browser sends when it asks for a page, such as an internet address, so that it can send the page back. We don’t use them to find out who you are or to follow you.
